SkillScan privacy notice
SkillScan is run by StationX Ltd. We collect your job title, quiz answers, and (if you choose to get your report by email) your email address — nothing else. After your report, we may ask one extra question — the income you'd want a future role to support. It's optional, used only to tailor what we show you, and is never shared with anyone (including Meta).
Who processes your data
- Anthropic (Claude API) — scores your quiz answers. Your email and name are never sent to it.
- SendGrid (Twilio) — delivers your report email. Open/click tracking is off.
- Kit — our email/CRM tool, stores your email and quiz results so we can follow up. Marketing only ever starts after you confirm via the button in your report email, and every email has one-tap unsubscribe.
- Meta — ad measurement (hashed email + event data), and only if you accept the consent banner.
Retention & your rights
Quiz sessions without an email are deleted after 30 days. Lead records are deleted after 24 months of inactivity. You can ask us to delete everything we hold about you at any time — email privacy@stationx.net and we'll erase the full chain (this site, our CRM, and queued events). You also have rights of access, correction, and objection under UK GDPR.
